CORE Communiqué March 2008
President's Message
Dear CORE Members and Friends,
I am pleased to provide you with an update on the many activities CORE has underway in the coming months.
Our Public Sector Forum in Victoria next Tuesday has well over 150 participants attending and
the program promises to be both educational and thought provoking.
Our 3rd Annual Global Conference information is detailed below. Our member organizations should
note that the first CORE Annual General Meeting will be held on the same day. Shortly, you will receive the AGM
notice as well as the nomination process for the election of four Board Directors.
We thank all the attendees at the recent Shared Services Forum in Toronto and the 65
participants that dialed into our National Conference call on 'The State of Canadian Outsourcing'.
Both events were quite successful. We are currently working on our June forums in Montreal and Calgary.
If you have any topics or suggestions for the forums or would like to participant, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Since we last communicated, I am pleased to welcome the following organizations as CORE members : Bell Canada, Cyberbahn and Property One Consulting.
Last but not least, congratulations to Scott Brown, Sheila Costigan and John Laggis all of
Bombardier and Bob Lees of Great West Life, our first recipients of the Accredited Outsourcing Practitioner [AOP] program. Well done!
On April 3rd, we will be hosting a breakfast briefing on the executive education program at the
CMC offices in Toronto. We invite you to come and meet some of the faculty and bring your questions on the modules and
the AOP certification process.
I look forward to meeting many of you in Victoria at our Public Sector Forum next week. I know it will definitely be warmer there!
Best Regards, Molly Pellecchia
