President's Message

Hello CORE Members and Friends,

June marks the close of the 2007/08 calendar year for CORE and happy to report that our first healthcare conference held last month was a success, providing interesting cases and discussion for all who attended. Greg Guylas had the opportunity to interview both of our featured speakers, Dr. Theodore Marmor and Dr. David Gratzer. For those who missed the conference, this is a great opportunity to hear some key messages. The interviews will be posted on our homepage shortly.

Our executive education open enrolment also ran in May and all four modules were very well-attended. Both the open enrolment and custom education programs continue to grow and improve with each offering. We will be making changes over the coming months to lengthen a few of the modules, which will allow for the addition of new topics and deeper content – stayed tuned.

We have begun the process of planning next year’s agenda and will be reaching out for your feedback and input over the coming months. Click here to view the preliminary program.

As in previous years, if you have interest in serving on the advisory committee to support either the annual conference or one of the specific industry events, please let us know. The program for next year continues to expand our offering and also launches some new elements:

• Industry-specific, one-day conferences - energy will be a new focus in 2009
• Roundtable discussions
• Supplementary reports on ‘The State of Canadian Outsourcing’
• Industry-specific research reports tied to our conference schedule
