Founder
John Simke, C.A., is the founder and Chair of CORE. He retired as a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2006, where, for 22 years as a management consultant, he worked on change and performance improvement projects for large corporations and governments. Through his career John has specialized in management innovations, in particular those that involve outsourcing, shared services, public-private partnerships and other forms of organizational collaboration. In addition to founding CORE, he was the founding President and Board member of the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships, an organization formed in 1993 to foster innovative approaches to financing, building and operating public infrastructure. He was also a founding director of the Smartrisk Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping individual Canadians better manage risk in their lives. He is currently on the Board of the Innovation Institute of Ontario.
